I’m only writing about my five-year blog anniv project now because there’s this gift-giving blog entry I posted on my LiveJournal and I want to assure people (myself most of all haha) that I WILL deliver on these handcrafted projects THIS YEAR.
There are two other topics: Coffee and vacation (suggested by Kiko) being one of them. I’m thinking of changing the other one (Ping Medina, suggested by Marian) so if you have something else in mind, please say so. Although I may just go on with it after all. These entries will be posted in full soon, and the handmade gifts will be sent this year!
Anyway last night Jang and I had an amazing anniversary dinner at the Baguio Country Club courtesy of a gift certificate that she won in one of her Christmas parties last year. I had salmon and she had bbq spareribs. Before dinner we were snacking at a KFC and I was telling her that I hope the set dinner won’t be too fancy because too fancy scares me.
Upon seeing our table, I was actually relieved to see that there were only three pieces of utensils.
However, the appetizer and first course were overwhelming (we weren’t able to finish them) that by the time the main courses were served we were already happily stuffed, buti na lang the dessert looked really yummy, thankfully we didn’t have to waste those.
After leaving the country club I was itching for a Mcdonald’s fix or any semblance of normalcy, preferably isaw on a street corner with drunkards nearby.
It was a nice seventh anniversary. Jang gave me four bars of assorted Goya chocolates (joyjoyjoy), and other lovely lovely gifts (a McMurtry book, a 24 DVD, black tights! and a card ♥).
It’s always lovely to lay down at night knowing that the person beside you is someone who cares for you deeply, someone who uses every possible chance to show it. I wish the same for all of you. ♥<-->
